<h2 data-end="412" data-start="382">The Moment It All Began</h2>
I was just a kid when I found it &mdash; a Playboy magazine.
Curiosity lit up my whole body like wildfire. Not perversion &mdash; wonder. Beauty. Divine ache. Something stirred in me that I didn&rsquo;t yet have language for.
But that&rsquo;s not when the shame came.
The shame came later, when my dad found out. He didn&rsquo;t comfort me. He didn&rsquo;t say, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s okay to be curious.&rdquo; Instead, I heard:

&ldquo;That&rsquo;s shameful.&rdquo; &ldquo;That&rsquo;s dirty.&rdquo; &ldquo;That&rsquo;s not real.&rdquo;
</blockquote>
I know he meant to protect me. But what I heard &mdash; and carried for years &mdash; was this:
Sex is wrong. Desire is dangerous. Beauty should be feared.

<h2 data-end="1066" data-start="1031">When Desire Became Dangerous</h2>
And yet, he also gave me one truth that stuck:
<blockquote data-end="1187" data-start="1117">
&ldquo;Find something you love to do &mdash; and find a way to get paid for it.&rdquo;
</blockquote>
The truth?
There&rsquo;s nothing I&rsquo;ve ever loved more than marveling at the beauty of a woman&rsquo;s body &mdash; not in lust, but in awe and reverence.
But for years, I believed that made me bad. That my desire made me unsafe. That loving the erotic was loving the wrong things.
Now I know: that longing wasn&rsquo;t broken. It was the beginning of my calling.

<h2 data-end="1813" data-start="1783">When I Saw Her Light Up</h2>
In 2017, my wife did her first boudoir session. It changed her.
She stood taller. Smiled brighter. Reclaimed something in herself.
And I knew &mdash; I wanted to help others experience the same.
A few years later, during the pandemic, I picked up a camera. I photographed someone close to me, and when she saw the images, she said:

&ldquo;You have a gift. You need to do this for other women.&rdquo;
</blockquote>
For once, I listened. And I haven&rsquo;t stopped since.
I didn&rsquo;t just want to take &ldquo;hot photos.&rdquo; I wanted to help women feel beautiful, powerful, and seen as sacred.
With every session, I realized: This wasn&rsquo;t a hobby. This was a healing assignment.

<h2 data-end="2529" data-start="2483">Can a Christian Photographer Be Erotic?</h2>
I&rsquo;ve walked a long road &mdash; From secret addiction to sacred integration. From hiding my desire to honoring it as divine.
Here&rsquo;s what I believe with my whole heart:

God never gave sexuality to the devil &mdash; the Church just surrendered it.
</blockquote>
For years, I didn&rsquo;t think I could be both:

A Christian

And a man who finds joy in erotic beauty
</li>
</ul>
But now I know:

I&rsquo;m not both in spite of my faith &mdash; I&rsquo;m both because of it.
</blockquote>

There&rsquo;s a verse in Ephesians that changed me:

&ldquo;He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands&hellip;&rdquo; (Ephesians 4:28)
</blockquote>
That pierced me.
Because I have stolen &mdash; not with my hands, but with my eyes. With fantasies. With objectification. With approval-seeking.
But now?
Now I use my hands &mdash; and my lens &mdash; to bless, honor, and give.
I don&rsquo;t capture to consume. I create to reveal the divine.

I just wanted to write yall a quick note of thank you!  Yesterday was just amazing!  What you both did for Jane was just so amazing and wonderful!  I've never seen her so sexy and confident.  The way you explained every step, gave her breaks when you felt she needed them, and just kept her so comfortable were all just so amazing.  And the snacks and champagne were just wonderful.  We have just such a warm and fuzzy feeling about our experience.  We will be riding this buzz of love for each other and just the overwhelming positive experience that we shared for years to come.  I feel comfortable saying that you two have a gift from God for this.    We started this journey early last summer, and this is absolutely our most positive experience.

Aphrodite offered such a wonderful experience, from start to finish. We were afraid that a photo shoot would be a somewhat clinical experience (all business and not much fun), but that is the farthest thing from how it actually was. As soon as you arrive, L and C make you feel comfortable and welcome you and treat you like life long friends. We laughed, had a great time, and absolutely enjoyed the whole process. L and C work so well together to offer a great experience from snacks and wine, to makeup and hair, to outfit selection, to picture ideas, to the amazing finished product. It was an afternoon we will not forget. And the main reason that we went, which was for the pictures, captured us and our relationship better than we could have.

And Aphrodite's did not disappoint at all. Lee & wife made sure that we were ready before we got to their studio. Once there, you can tell they run a well oiled machine, looking over us as a couple, making sure that we had the best outfits picked out for the occasion, and that we were comfortable and feeling at ease at all times. We might be back to get our "spicy" holiday photos done this year!.

Though we had attempted a boudoir shoot with an aspiring photographer previously, the results fell short of our expectations. It was only after my wife's second session that she truly recognized her own allure and worth, regardless of how she may compare to magazine cover models.

Since then, I have studied under a world-renowned male boudoir photographer, honing my skills to bring out the best in my clients. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the expressions of joy and amazement on my clients' faces when I reveal the photos I have captured of them.
